Balik Kampung is made by Meena Toyz Enterprise (business registration No. PG0506498-X), Malaysia — the data controller for everything described below. Questions about this policy, or about your own data, go to contact@meenatoyz.com or through the .
You can play the entire game without giving us anything. An account is optional, and exists only so your journey follows you to another device. We do not run ads, analytics or trackers, we load no third-party scripts, and we never sell or share your data for marketing.
We do not collect location, contacts, photos, device identifiers or advertising IDs.
We only process this data with your consent, and to provide the service you asked for. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
We use a small number of service providers, and only to run the game:
These providers may store data on servers outside Malaysia, so your data may be transferred abroad for this purpose. We do not disclose your data to anyone else, except where the law requires it.
We set no advertising or tracking cookies. When you log in, a session token and your email are kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. Logging out removes them.
Account data is kept until you delete your account. Deleting it removes your account and cloud-saved progress from our database — go to 👤 Account → Delete account, or email us and we will do it for you. Progress saved locally in your browser stays until you clear it yourself. Contact messages are kept in our inbox as long as needed to deal with them.
Under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, delete it, or limit how we use it. Write to contact@meenatoyz.com and we will respond as quickly as we can.
This is a family game and children are welcome to play it — without an account, no personal data is collected at all. If a child under 18 wants an account, a parent or guardian should set it up and consent on their behalf. If you believe a child has given us personal data without that consent, email us and we will remove it.
Traffic between your device and our server is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in readable form. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the data we hold to the minimum the game needs.
If this policy changes, the updated date above changes with it. Material changes will be announced in the game.

Raja and Meena crossed back over the sea and walked the whole long length of the peninsula again — up through the great forests, up the long green coast, until the land looked like something Meena knew in her bones. The padi fields. The blue shape of Gunung Jerai. The smell of home.
Raja walked straight through the kampung to the edge of the forest — the forest that had stood beside the village his whole life — lifted his trunk, and called.
And from deep inside the trees that had been there the whole time, a great grey shape answered. She had never left. She had searched these forests season after season, and never gone far — because a mother stays near the place her child was lost.
He had crossed the entire nation to find her. And she had been at the edge of home all along.
“You see, Thambi?” Meena whispered. “It was never out there. It was always here. Home held the answer the whole time.”
You discovered all 16 states & territories of Malaysia. Selamat pulang. 🇲🇾
